Short Description:

The A325/A490 Structural (ASTM A325/A490) High Strength Hex Bolt is designed for use in structural steel connections, therefore it has a shorter thread length than standard hex bolts. It features a heavy hex head and full body diameter. Unlike other grades, ASTM A325 is specific not only in chemical and mechanical requirements, but also in the allowed configuration.

These screws range in diameter from 1/2″ to 1-1/2″ and are fabricated from a medium carbon alloy steel that is quenched and tempered to develop the desired mechanical properties.
