The A325 Tension controlled Screw or A325 TC Screw is the best choice in high-strength structural screws and formally recognized by the RCSC (Research Council on Structural Connections) as an approved installation method.

The A325 Controlled Tension Bolt comes complete with a 2H Heavy Nut and F-436 ASTM 1852-00 Standard Flat Washer.

Controlled tension screws come with a built-in tension control device (tip) to achieve the best tension levels and thus be able to repeat this tension in each installation of each screw. They are installed with a specialized electric gun that has an external socket that turns the nut, while the internal socket is held in the groove.

When the proper tension level is reached, the groove breaks, giving you a visual indication of proper installation.
